9th May, 2013 - Blog Already?!

Posted by KDStudios on May 9, 2013 at 6:25 AM Comments comments (47)

Hey folks,

Yes... Can't believe it's been a short 5 months since my last blog post... Ha... Short... ¬_¬

I kind of went off radar for a few months, livestreaming got out of hand and then Mojang threw a stupid new texture system into Minecraft. So I pretty much abandoned everything. Now I'm back, stronger than ever.

I'm livestreaming again, this time I'm trucking across Europe with a Logitech Gaming Wheel and updating all my Minecraft texture packs to 1.5.2 and snapshot 13w18c (The latest builds at the time of this post)

I'm touching up the website now, finishing her has always been my dream since I started this website. Now it seems more like a reality.

The Home page now supports my livestreams with links relating to me. You guys should definitely check it out.

The Forums have been touched up and are less cluttered. It's to cater to a much smaller audience than I used to get, so now we can have more personal chats on the forum. If you need any help or want to find download links to my old mods for Fallout games then go there. I'm uploading them all now.

The Contact/Donate page is now more vital than ever, I work to entertain you all with my content, whether it's with livestreaming games, making youtube videos or enjoying fantastic textures for games. I want to entertain you folks, if you fancy sending me money for a cup of tea to upgrade my hardware that would be fantastic.

The Chat page is back, probably won't be used much but we shall see, post in the forums if you want to talk to me, I'll get back to you.

Also there is a Videos and Texture pack page, my content will be posted on there. However I might be replacing Videos with Music instead as I'm using a lot of awesome music in my livestreams.

Anyway that's the latest up to now, I'll post another blog post if anything crops up.

9th December, 2012 What? Blog already?!

Howdy all,

Yes, a blog post LESS than a month since the last one? I must be losing my touch... ;)

I'm mostly writing this blog post to update everyone on what will be happening before the New Year. I will be making another blog post closer to the New Year detailing my plans for the coming year of 2013.

Let us get started shall we? I'll start with the latest news since my last blog post and end with the more recent stuff.

So as you should be aware, the 28th of November was going to be a "glorious" day. It was more than glorious, it was perfect. I expected 29-30mbps and ended up getting a whopping 37-40mbps which is absolutely fantastic. The upload speed also grew rather significantly to 8-9mbps. Which MEANS I can now livestream and have been livestreaming for over a week now. It's great and you should check it out sometime at: Twitch.tv/KDStudios.

Speaking of Livestream, I've been livestreaming a lot of a game called Don't Starve and I'm currently doing a giveaway of it. I'm giving you the chance to win a Steam Key for the game so that you too can play it. All you need to do is subscribe and comment on THIS video. You have to do both or I simply won't count you heh. The ending date is the 12th of December, about 12pm GMT (UK Time).

Also I have some excellent news. I was rummaging around on an old computer after recording some Spore Let's Play, I came across a rather large folder (12GB) and was curious as to what was in it... I found something that made me excited! (No! It's not my missing porn collection, I have yet to find that... ;) haha!)

I found ALL of my Fallout content, every single mod and project I've worked on was in there. Even my recent stuff. I'm very happy to have found it and now I can post them all here on the site (and probably the nexus too)

Also, regarding this website. I'm going to be working on the site for a few days, making it much better than what it used to be. Now that the chat function has passed it's test I hope we will be able to utilise it soon enough. I'll even start working on a page where you can download my Minecraft texture packs.

The forums will be mostly abandoned for now due to a glitch with the system which prevents any use of HTML in forum posts.

I'm also going to attempt to make a page for all my youtube videos, so you can watch them there too and easily access the playlists.

(This is partly because of the confusion people have with the new youtube layout)

(Ps. Give us back our subscriptions on the homepage! kthxbai)

Anyway I tried keeping this as brief as I can be. (I always seem to fail)

But thanks for reading and remember I love each and every one of you.

You're Awesome. Yes! You!

Take Care all.

22nd November, 2012 - The End is Nigh!

Posted by KDStudios on November 22, 2012 at 4:00 PM Comments comments (0)

Howdy folks,

It's been a rather quiet month in terms of getting much content done and actual contact with the internet community. This is mostly because we're having a whole lot of things happening behind the scenes, as well as starting things that you may or may not be aware of.

So to start things off, I posted an update video in the first week of this month explaining some of the changes that are going on and also possibilities of the future, please watch it, I'm playing Mount and Blade: Warband while speaking to you in it (Fantastic game).  (Preferably also watching/listening to it before finishing reading this, I'll repeat a lot of what I said just in case you don't, heh)

As you may or may not be aware, the website has had a huge face lift, however there have been a number of problems regarding html coding in the forums, I've been in contact with support and we can't seem to find the cause nor a solution to the problem. Basically what happens is that we can post html in forum topics which include images, videos and all sorts of things... But can't edit it afterwards. This doesn't happen on my test site so I have 2 options... 1) Delete this site and build it from scratch or move to the test site instead or 2) Make topics without images or videos. Which can be problematic in itself considering you'd rather look at what you're downloading... So yeah, unsure what to do so I've been ignoring the problem as best as I can.

I also have some sad news. It seems I've misplaced the original and backups of all of the Fallout 3 and New Vegas mods we've made over the many years of modding. So that pretty much means I've lost everything for the Star Trek Mod and The Walking Dead mod I was working on. It's a shame, a real damn shame. So much work was made and I figured that the backups would be enough. Oh well. Maybe if I become inspired I'll start them again hmm? Luckily some of the mods are available on the Nexus community, so download them from there. I've redownloaded all of our work from there and backed it up, so I know I have them incase something happens to them there. As of now though, modding for Fallout 3 and New Vegas is officially over for us. I will definitely be modding Fallout 4 when it comes out though.

If you watched the update and announcement video, you'll know that I'm going to be making a number of Let's Plays of some games, now they are relatively old but really enjoyable if you fancy spending little money on many hours of fun. I've already started the Spore let's play so go check it out, it's actually hilarious at how badly I'm failing at it. (I've been playing it for years, so I'm very surprised). I will be doing a Let's play of Fort Zombie, a fantastic zombie game with so many problems that actually make it more fun to play. It's so derpy but if you know what you're doing it can be entertaining.

Finally, remember this date... The 28th of November, 2012, for it will be a glorious day for us. The internet upgrade I hinted at on the video finally turned into a reality. The speed increase will be pretty drastic, going from 1mbps (megabits) to 30-29mbps, it's not the best in the world but is better than the 1mbps we've been working with for over 5 years now. That also means the upload speed will be getting a kick up the backside into gear. So that also means LIVESTREAMING. Some time in December I'll be testing out various platforms such as Xsplit and other streaming programs. So that means I'll probably be entertaining you with Minesweeper.

EXTRA... I've literally just changed my mind as I was writing this, I'm going to Announce something you might not have been aware of. So Minecraft 1.4 (1.4.5 right now I believe) so that means all my packs have been updated... Well except one... Wastelandcraft... Yes, that poor texture pack that I pretty much abandoned when Silver Weasel stopped working on his Wasteland mod, but with the new update here and my new found desire for something apocalyptic I've decided to not only update it, but rebrand it completely. I'm working on pretty much a whole new pack. It's radioactive and post nuclear, it's completely custom and looks fantastic. It should appeal to all Fallout game fans. So check it out when it arrives!

Anyway, sorry for the long blog post, but it has been a very busy few months for us. What with working on video content, texture packs, new textures and not to forget Mine and Emma's 4 year anniversary on the 1st of November. It will only get more busy as we approach Christmas, New Year and immediately after... My 21st Birthday! So keep an eye out, I hope to make a new blog post soon

(probably around Christmas or later knowing me...) heh... Sorry ;)

Take care, stay safe and have fun, that's an order!

9th October, 2012 - Revamp!

Posted by KDStudios on October 9, 2012 at 2:50 PM Comments comments (1)

Well it's that time again folks.

It's been a long time since I've last made a blog post, heck it's been a long time since I was last on this site (7 months at least).

I felt sad that it was dead in the river, so I decided I'd do something about it.

This is the latest look I've been working on and it's not too bad if I say so myself. It took a long time until I finally decided to scrap the entire site and start nearly fresh. I decided to throw away that amazing Fallout 3 wallpaper that was in the background for a more generic, computing, sci-fi background that you see now. It's less memory intensive and looks pretty cool.

The whole site has received a facelift, so I'll tell you about the most important changes. (Keep this as brief as possible as I tend to ramble on)

The homepage has been revamped to have precisely everything you need to know about the site, it also has many buttons to take you to many of the pages you may wish to visit. At this moment I'd like to urge you all to follow us on twitter so that you will be alerted as soon as I upload a video to youtube, potentially when I'll be livestreaming too (This is an idea up in the air at the moment, waiting on upgraded upload speed first) and the latest info regarding texture packs and gaming mods.

The Forums have finally been blasted with some content. For too long now has the pages been sending people to dead links and outdated texture packs. Now I will make sure that they are updated continuously and I'll be posting more than ever on it.

The Chat has also been spring cleaned. With a welcome return of xat chat. This is mostly because I liked having a chat log to see who has been on and I also like the fact it has sound, so I know when there has been a message. The old chat is still there, although it is hidden for now to see how well xat copes.

The News/Blog, Recommended Sites, Contact/Donations and members pages has been mostly unaffected, besides the settings being changed they won't be much different. I'll be updating them when I come.

Again I'm happy that you all are enjoying the site and all the content I have to offer.

Please be sure to subscribe to our youtube channel, follow us on twitter and check out our content today.

Good day to you all *Raises Fedora Hat*

14/12/2011 Projects, MC and more

Posted by KDStudios on December 14, 2011 at 4:10 AM Comments comments (2)

Hey there everyone.

I guess I failed when I said I was going to be posting regular blogs.

Well the fact is I've been far too busy and personal life decided to sit directly infront of everything I've been trying to do.

I won't go into too much detail but basically my grandfather passed away in late september, who I was very close to. I went down to my home town to visit them while he went into Hospital. So that was me defunct for a month or two while I was stopping with my grandmother through all of this. Very stressful time. Being there also meant no internet access besides my iphone. So very little work was done besides a little project I was working on in Fallout 3.

I've been back about a month now and I've been busy evaluating my life, my plans and expectations for the upcoming year.

I have some good news and I have some bad news in regards to a lot of my projects within Bethesda related games, Minecraft and my youtube channel.

I'll just throw them in at the same time as I'll be doing it in Categories.

My youtube channel is doing absolutely great. I recently started a Let's play on Skyrim, updated my oldest texture pack for minecraft to 1.0. Made a few minecraft related challenges and videos and finally hit 500 subscribers!

So yeah, as of now I have 517 subscribers, I thank all of you for your support and excellent viewing tastes! I'll be making a video for you guys sometime this month! So be expecting that.

My Skyrim Let's Play is currently on hold, mostly because I'm too busy working on Minecraft related content. But speaking of Let's plays... I'm going to be doing one last Skyblock video just for all my viewers, One last video for Survival Island and a preview video for my first (published) Minecraft Sound Pack. Oh yes. No longer am I restricted to making Minecraft look different but I am also going to make her sound different! So expect these video's this month!

I submitted a video recently showing my Minecraft Waterworld Challenge, this is set in a world of almost complete ocean, for minecraft 1.9PR5, 1.0 and any new snapshots that come out. Try that out today!

Minecraft category now. So basically I have released and updated 3 texture packs as of now. There is my HD Realistic texture pack which was my first ever released texture pack. Wastelandcraft which is the most recent pack released, based in a post apocalyptic Minecraft, fantastic for you who like Fallout. Finally there is my KDS Photo Realism which is my take on a realistic look of Minecraft. Very popular and loved by many. I suggest you try all 3 of them out and tell me what you think of them!

I've just told you about the waterworld challenge and realistic sound pack so that's good. I'm also working on a completely new texture pack which aims at being the most detailed 256x pack available anywhere on the internet. I haven't thought of a name but so far I have codenamed it "Cubiclife". It is very realistic, very detailed and I am very proud of the few textures I have made for it so far. Look around, you might be able to find some screenshots of them ;)

Okay as for Fallout projects. Restoreout NV has been put on indefinite hold. I will not be working on this anymore or anytime soon. New Vegas is a poor game compared to Fallout 3 and if I am to make anymore Fallout mods, they will be for Fallout 3 and probably quickly ported to New Vegas if demand is there. The Fallout British Commonwealth, or Fallout: UK or FUK as many of you know it as has been put on a short hiatus as the modeller I was working with has had other things to deal with. He's a fantastic modeller and I hope he manages to get into uni and accomplish everything he desires to do. I do however have the models he created for the mod and I intend to get Britain into Fallout 3 sometime in early 2012 regardless of how small it may be. Star Trek mod for Fallout is still on hold. I haven't found time to work on this and I need to reboot interest for it and get some more people to work on it. As of now my silence the past few months has cost quite dearly in the community projects aspect.

Skyrim, Skyrim, Skyrim. One of the most common things I'm asked is "Where are your Skyrim mods or retextures?" Quite simply, they don't exist yet. I'm currently waiting on the creation kit to be released and for nifskope to be updated to support Skyrim models fully. I have made a few retextures to some clutter items and to a few creatures but nothing worth uploading or getting you all hyped up about. The lack of an SDK has really put me off the game for the near future. I simply haven't played it for weeks now. That's why I haven't uploaded anymore Skyrim videos. There isn't anything to upload! :P

Don't worry. Come late January I will be back in the Nexus community and posting lovely Skyrim mods and videos as soon as they're available. Keep watching this section next month ;)

As for this website. I have plans for it. I'm currently engaged in regular email contact with the webhost. Learning what I can and can't do with it and ways to improve it. The old chat that was supported by Xat has let everyone down and I will be replacing that with a new one very shortly. The new chat is currently being tested in the New Chat Test page, try it out today and tell me what you think. I am in touch with the new chats developers and hoping to get some Chat sounds and possibly even a chat log introduced to it so you all can have a fantastic experience with it!

Again, I'll try making more blog posts letting you guys know what is going on but I won't promise this time... heh.

If you want to know anything, email me.

Watch my videos on my channel and support me anyway you can! :D

Thanks everyone who has tried and/or admired my work.

Good Day *Raises Fedora Hat*

Ps. While I remember check out Bwana's community at bwana.tv

He's a funny guy, always making content about games and software. He has a livestream too on Justin.tv so check that out when you can. He also has many Minecraft servers such as Pandemic.

Pandemic is a zombie survival server and is not whitelisted like his others. IP is here, please review the rules too: bwna.me/zombieserver

He has other servers and I play on his Premium server, very good. But you can get whitelisted for his other servers such as Cactus, very nice server. Check them out today!

05/08/2011 FOTM again?!

Posted by KDStudios on August 4, 2011 at 11:30 PM Comments comments (0)

It's that time of the month again!

I'm going to try and make a weekly blog instead of monthly. This is ridiculous!

The thing is I have been so busy what with personal life, texturing and tragic family news that I haven't been as active on the modding scene as I usually am.

So first things first, you know that I got in the top 5 in FOTM in May and actually won June FOTM? Turns out I also impressed a LOT of Minecraft fans by taking over and improving Falloutcraft - Minecraft in Fallout. I also won July's FOTM. Although for fairness because I won FOTM last month the interview will go to the author who came in second place(and so it rightly should!). There was an offer to interview Wiccan0Witch instead but she barely recognises her mod compared to what she made it :/ So it wouldn't really be her scene to do so. But I think it's still fantastic news!

So let me take this time to thank each and every single one of you who voted for Th5 combat assistant, Restoreout and Falloutcraft. It means a lot to me and everyone who was involved in the creation of them (Nightterror(THE5), Emma(Falloutcraft) and me (All 3) :)

So thanks again, if you have any requests, I'd be happy to do so!

In other news...

I have recently released a silent project I was working on.

In the absense of RegentEagle and the removal of most of his mods. I decided to work on my own version of Recovering Wasteland.

Low and behold. I released a tiny portion of it in New Vegas, included in my GreenWorld mod.

What I'm talking about is... Recovering Wasteland Reborn.

It's my attempt to do what RegentEagle did. Great textures with great normal maps. I also added high resolution textures for the rocks and for grass.

I also recommend using the Taller Grass mod.

So try it out :)

Have a great role play!

I have also just recorded 2 new videos that I will be linking in this blog when they're uploaded!

Hopefully they will help you out in your texturing and modding ventures!

Remember, if you want to ask me anything or join in the communtiy more. Please sign up and talk in the forums. Or come talk in my Chat, you don't need to sign up an account here to do so!

Take care all, I'll see you guys later!

01/07/2011 Wow Really?!

Posted by KDStudios on July 1, 2011 at 11:58 AM Comments comments (0)

Been a while since my last blog.

I have been busy working on my many mods and updating them, getting them uploaded and making videos where possible.

So firstly I'm going to start with something AMAZING.

My "The5 Combat Assistant" Port got in the top 5 of May 2011 File of the Month on Fallout 3 nexus.

That was amazing and I thank everyone who supported mine and nightterror5's mod :)

That was just the tip of the iceburg however because the NEXT month I actually WON File of the Month on Fallout 3 nexus with my flagship mod, Restoreout.

Thankyou so much to everyone who voted. You have no idea how much it means to me. Putting a Year of my time into that mod really paid off last night when I noticed I won :)

Then as of today there is only one mod on the voting poll of July 2011 and that is Wiccan0Witch's Falloutcraft, which I am currently working on :)

So thanks to those who did that.

So yes, now that those celebrations are out of the way, I'll let you guys know what's been going on in the high and mighty KDStudios domain :D

My current Projects are as follows: Star Trek Mod, Restoreout NV and Falloutcraft (F3 and NV)

Star Trek Mod's progress is slow as you'd expect but we're making headroom. Sometimes though I get that frustrated with it I'm forced to put it down for the day and work on something else before I'm inspired to work on this.

Don't worry though we have a LOT done. Interiors are currently the number one priority with that mod. I have placeholder textures and models for federation ships so we'll see what I can do with them eventually :)

Restoreout NV has literally just started. I was recently inspired to make it with the huge interest in Restoreout for Fallout 3. This will take little next to forever to create though. What with working on Star trek and Falloutcraft, I'm lucky to get a single texture created!

Falloutcraft has recently come into my possession because of Wiccan0Witch's lack of time to do any work on her projects, which sucks because she managed to achieve so much. But at least it's not left to die. She will help me occasionally but won't work on it directly for the foreseeable future.

I actually got myself a lot of caffine and worked on it last night none stop. I had a huge breakthrough that she was having huge problems doing. I created a static block model for her, a 2D Block for her saplings and mushrooms and most importantly Destroyable blocks with a specific weapon!

So yeah. Can't wait to add more to it!

But yeah that's what I've been working on for the past month.

I've also created Omegaspectre some Templar textures so it will be interesting to see what he does with those.

Things can only go up and up :)

If you want to talk to me about anything or anyone else for that matter. Come join our Chat or post on the Forums

29/05/2011 A New Project

Posted by KDStudios on May 28, 2011 at 11:04 PM Comments comments (0)

Hey again guys, sorry I haven't been as active on the site.

Things have been going to so fast I've had barely any time to think!

Quite literally it seems.

However I have been in the chat very often, talking to people whenever possible, which is quite comforting.

Since my return to the nexus I've been neck deep in Fallout related files, it's also unfortunate because I have no time to put into my Minecraft texture packs that I promised that I'd update.

So as I've been neglected them I'll put there status' first:

- Futuristic Texture Pack needs a LOT of work doing to it.

The original author CheapShot doesn't seem to have been serious when he told me that he was going to update it. So it's been left to me to update it after all. This is a major drawback as I could have updated it all that time ago when I was free.

- My flagship texture pack for minecraft, Realistic Texture Pack WILL be updated for 1.6, this I promise. She's my baby and I feel foul for abandoning her in the recent weeks. She will be updated though so people can stop begging me to do it, I'll do it as soon as I possibly can.

As for my mods, all of my most important mods for Fallout 3 and New Vegas are now available for download at thenexusforums.com.

To find them you only need search for "KDS" and it will find all of my mods. For easy findings just for you :)

Now that them subjects are under the carpet.

It's time to officially announce my new project and what most of my time and resources will be going into!

The Star Trek mod Project!

Now you may have read this in my previous blog but back then it was just an idea with a few resources and not a lot of backing.

Now however, it has become a reality.

We have a team working on this right now as we speak.

People are donating their time and expert knowledge into this mod with what can only be described as "Passionate"

Well known mod authors are lending whatever they possibly can, with such backing I am determined to make this mod reach the public in no time.

I am however going to give NO ETA on the possibility of an open alpha test. Naturally it will happen eventually though.

If you wish to keep track of the progress of this mod, add suggestions or to offer help then please visit our official Star Trek Mod forum page

17/05/2011 Projects, News and Updates!

Posted by KDStudios on May 17, 2011 at 5:36 PM Comments comments (1)

Well I have splendid stuff to announce but first let me tell you what's been happening the past few days...

Shortly after finishing uploading my mods, I was convinced by a certain someone to submitted a request for a reinstatement back at thenexusforums.com, after all it has been 6 months or so since I left and figured I don't really have anything to lose by asking. Plus it would be great to have a chance to catch up with all my friends there.

A day later I get word from wiccan that they're discussing the potential of me returning, I was very moved by this information. I half expected a big No with a fullstop at the end. So it was great that they were thinking about it.

Then yesterday I got the news that my account has been re-activated and I was allowed back on the nexus! As soon as people saw it I was flooded with emails welcoming me back and just catching up with a whole bunch of them! It was excellent indeed. So glad to be back.

In other news, I almost convinced myself to buy a domain for the site, however I didn't really wan't to change the site address with the fear of losing you guys and having to change ALL my videos to say the new domain name. The most important factor about buying it was that I'd be able to remove those damn ads from the top. Another problem that arises from that is actually finding the money to maintain ownership of the site. So far it's free and offers an adequate service for both me and you. I'm also wondering what colour to have the text on the main page. What do you guys think?

Finally I am about to tell you about my latest project.

It's a mod I was working on about 6 months ago but left it to gather dust for a while. 5 months on and with considerable amount of new knowledge to add to it. I've decided to reboot the Star Trek in Fallout Mod!

A collection of weapons, uniforms, ships and races will be combined and built to make the ultimate Star Trek mod for Fallout 3 and eventually New Vegas. I'm currently writing messages to zombie, murfy, johnjohnston, nimrod and natalie to all join forces and work together to make it.

So far me and wiccan have compiled all available star trek mods and are welcome to ALL resources. I will make a forum page about it for you guys to stay tuned and perhaps submit your own content for it.

I'll add a link to the page when I eventually get it done.

I hope you guys are well and continue to support me and the rest of the gang as we develop this magnificent piece of art!

12/05/2011 News and Updates

Posted by KDStudios on May 12, 2011 at 12:23 PM Comments comments (4)

Wow it has been some time since I last wrote in my blog. I have been meaning to write in it now for the past few months but haven't really had the time to do so. But today I've decided to kick start the site again, but that's for later in the blog.

Now... Things have been going really slowly here for me. My main gaming/recording computer is STILL out of action. What was once just a power button issue has now blown way out of proportion to what I thought it would be. So there's no chance of that being powered up any time soon. That means valuable data is still on there and I have to make do with the scraps of data I didn't have on the computer at the time.

Because of data not being accessable the following has taken place in the meantime:

  • Restoreout NV has been put on indefinite hold (Noooooooo)
  • All of my RH_Ironsights plugins won't be available to upload (But may be able to if they are on my external fallout mod HDD, fingers crossed)
  • Futuristic Texture Pack 1.5 update won't be updated any time soon, but WILL be updated when I find time to.
  • Realistic HD Texture Pack has been updated to 1.5_01 so be sure to download it.
  • Man Vs Minecraft will not be concluded and has been discontinued due to map being on that computer.
  • I have created a few "Minecraft Short" videos which are parodies of popular multimedia.
  • Started a [Howto] Geck Tutorials to help some of you guys out with modding.
  • Helped Wiccan0Witch create and publish "Falloutcraft - Minecraft in Fallout" CHECK IT OUT!
Now aside from doing odd jobs for some of my customers I have more free time to work on mods, videos and this site.

I plan to add more images and videos for you guys to watch. As well as fill up the forum with as much content as possible.
So far the only changes to the site I have made are the background and revamped the chat. So come chill out for a bit while I'm working on OUR site.

I hope you are all well and if you have any queries please don't hesitate to ask me either by comment, email, message or in chat :)

05/01/2011 Birthday for me, Updates for you

Posted by KDStudios on January 4, 2011 at 7:29 PM Comments comments (2)

Yes it's my birthday today and to celebrate I'm going to give you guys an update to what's been happening

Oki doki 4 days on since my last blog post, I'm going to try posting these more to let you know whats happening and stuff.

These past few days me and Entreri have been working out ways to upload mods.

So this is what we came up with which should do for now while I find us a database and a cheap webhost!

We're going to post them up on the forums in the mods section where even YOU can upload your mods.

All you need to do is write a description, link to a screenshot or two via somewhere like ImageShack and then add a Download url to your mod via megaupload or somewhere like that :)

This is temp for now, but it's the best and cheapest way so far.

So far there are only 8 mods on this site for 3 different games but I will add the rest I promise :)

Also as promised I have uploaded a video and it is to encourage people to visit the site, I am really proud of this video.

So yeah what do you guys think of it?

Im surprised at how much I have done considering the past few weeks... what with christmas, christmas parties, new year, new year parties and now my birthday It's been quite a busy time.

I cannot wait to go ahead with all this in full steam!

I hope you all are well and stay tuned!

01/01/2011 A New Year, A Fresh Start

Posted by KDStudios on January 1, 2011 at 11:50 AM Comments comments (1)

Most people will be likely to agree that 2010 was not the best year in our scrapbooks.

With money problems, problems at home, relationship problems or just the pains that follow us all everywhere.

We must stick together and the ones we love.

2011 is a time of new beginnings and a fresh start.

So effective immediately. I have created a Downloads section in the forums.

Its high time I enable the ability for you guys to get hold of our mods.

Also if you wish to add your own mods to this section... feel free to.

This site is for YOU.

I want all of you to look back on 2010 as not the year that was one of the worst... but a year that you realised who you could really depend on... Who you can trust.

I would like to thank everyone who stood by me and the rest of the team that brought to you all these wonderful mods.

Who have all in turn encouraged me to keep going, to keep trying and to prevail.

I pledge to you all now that I will:

- Upload videos more frequently

- Upload bigger and better mods for the games you love

- Expand the site

- Find a better chat

- (and most importantly) Make a bigger community!

I hope you all enjoyed Christmas and had a perfect New Year.

Now lets get cracking!

27/11/2010 New New New Updates!

Posted by KDStudios on November 27, 2010 at 6:28 PM Comments comments (0)

Well as of today I've decided that this website has been neglected for too long.

It's time to give her a new burst of health

I've been a little preoccupied lately what with Restoreout being completed, New Vegas being released, Us releasing new mods and starting at least 3 new Projects!

Yeah it's been busy busy busy.

But I finally visited the site and gave it a quick makeover.

What's New?

- Added a new theme that fits any sized monitor now.

- Deleted a few redundant pages, DON'T WORRY. They will return when I've finished with them!

- Sorted out the website chat, We now have a fully functional chat room that works as expected. The last one was a little bit of a fluke really. But I'm expecting to get a little more traffic now.

- Added the new logo to the top right of the page *Put on cool shades*

What's Next?

- Sorting out the Downloads page is top priority now, I want people to be able to download the mods without having to be linked everywhere. I'm working on this.

- Deciding what looks right and what doesn't

- Making seperate and new pages for Oblivion, Minecraft, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas.

- Recommendations page will be updated at sometime

If I have left anything out, please point it out to me :)

5/6/2010 Content News Update

I'm sure some of you may have noticed that we have been making a few requests on the nexus forums. This is because we have the idea but not the know-how to get those things done.

So as of now we are currently taking a short break from modding for a few days (week max we promise) to learn how to use that damn blender =P

Also, the break will also be used to help us learn how to use a new piece of software we recently purchased for videos for our youtube channel.

We are then going to work on small mods and small videos at first then alternate between bigger mods and bigger longer videos.

Our hope by the end of the week we will be able to bring you not just mods, but entertaining videos as well.

Don't want to give too much away but our videos will be randomized and not connected at all... for now. But we WILL be moving onto a series that will look like the DC Chronicles by Drakortha. They will however not be related in anyway.

This is so that while your waiting for one of his videos you can watch ours and alternate =)
